So how hard are the MCSE tests? I am studying for 70-270 and I would like to know how hard it is to get a passing score without the testking questions.

Hi, the 70-270 is pretty easy with the teskings, hard one are the 70-290 and 70-291.

for sure 70-270 is the easier it consider a preparing step for mcse, thats why u study client computer in it and didnt start any professional network knowledge yet, and think also 90 is easy too because its starting for 2003 but it contains lots of knowledge for the coming course
70-291 is the best course u will find lot of knowledge in it, think its the important one and the hardest one of all 7 courses in my openion

I looked at some of the practice problems online for 70-270 and it didn't look so simple. But I guess I will find out when I take it for real.

awww i think if u look in that samples in any exam u will find it very very hard when u try to solve quistions...even if u r study hard and know everything....they want someone who made everything practical very good
i really began to test maself in that one but when i found myself bad something or answer wrong i thought that i wont pass the exam....but when i entered it i found a different thing...they want to make everything hard for ya only

I took the 70-270 six month ago and it's the easier.
As equal that other members said, 70-290 and 70-291 are the more difficult of the MCSA.
You have to study a little, make tests and you will get it.

Has anyone used the preplogic practice tests? I used them for the A+ tests and got a score of 720 HW and 820 SW

The most difficult from the MCSE track is the Network Infrastructure exam, in my opinion

So if I believe you, begining by 70-290 is a good solution since it's a dificult one, others will be like a "formality" ?

70-270 is easy one, takign server next, use testking for 70-270
